Kingfisher Resort was officially opened in 2000 with only 3 (three) accommodation rooms and due to their hard work and perseverance, the rooms later developed to 70 with a capacity to as::commodate 150 people.

Kingfisher safaris resort is located in eastern part of Uganda (Jinja), Njeru town (Bukaya village). It’s 120km away from Entebbe International airport, 80km from Kampala capital city and 4K’m from the New Nile Bridge. Around the resort there are quite a number of amazing tourist sites for example:

the source of the Nile which is a 5 (five) minutes ride from Kingfisher Resort on our beautiful and boats, Mahatma Gandhi monument, John Speke monument, fish farms, ltanda falls- and Budhagali falls to mention but a few.
